TXHML Service
Imagine having access to the essential services and support you need to thrive, right in the comfort of your own home. That's the promise of the Texas Home Living (TxHmL) program, a Medicaid waiver offered by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. Just like the popular HCS Program, TxHmL is designed to uplift the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. But unlike HCS, TxHmL has more availability, offering a lifeline for those waiting for a coveted spot in the HCS program. With TxHmL, you can tap into a wealth of benefits, from personalized attendant services to specialized therapies and dental care. The program is flexible, allowing you to live in a family home or in your own place, while still receiving the support you need. The best part? TxHmL is all about you. The program is carefully tailored to enhance your quality of life, promoting independence and well-being. And navigating services is a breeze, with guidance from your Texas Local Authority (LIDDA) or Managed Care Organization (MCO). Don't let a long HCS waitlist hold you back. Explore the TxHmL program and discover a path to a more supported, fulfilling life.
